Scott leads Vodafone’s Group Business Products and Services team and is responsible for driving the delivery of the product and service portfolio to support the implementation of Vodafone’s total communications strategy. Working closely with Vodafone’s local markets, Scott and his team are focused on product and service delivery in three key priority areas:
Fixed Mobile Convergence – ensuring that Vodafone becomes a total communications provider for Small and Medium Businesses; Machine to Machine – building a market leading position in the delivery of global platform to deliver Machine to Machine solutions; Enterprise Mobility – strengthening Vodafone’s market leadership position and building a portfolio of solutions to harness the explosive growth of data through smartphone and tablet devices.
Before joining Vodafone in January 2009, Scott ran the Services Division for Dimension Data, the global IT Systems Integrator. It was this role that brought him from his native Australia to the UK. During his four year tenure, his team grew service revenues from $US 800M to $US1.5Bn at a CAGR of 20% while holding cost growth at just 10% per annum. In total he enjoyed 18 years with Dimension Data – always in Services and Technical roles.
