Camille Mendler
“Verticalization of enterprise ICT is a conduit to top-line growth. But moving away from generic solutions isn’t trivial: New partnerships and revenue models are table stakes.”
Camille Mendler is Head of Enterprise Verticals at Informa Telecoms & Media. She advises clients on top-line growth opportunities at the intersection of telecom and communications-intensive industries. She identifies and validates sales engagement models, focusing in particular on the monetisation of cloud computing, Ethernet, mobility and M2M technologies in verticalized contexts. Key industries driving her team’s research agenda include health, transport, agriculture and utilities.
Camille is a frequent public speaker and media commentator on global ICT trends, and serves as a judge for the Total Telecom World Vendor Awards and MEF Service Provider Awards. In 2011, she will speak at Mobile World Congress, Informa’s MVNO Industry Summit and Broadband World Forum.
Camille Mendler joined Informa Telecoms & Media in January 2011. Previously, she was a vice president at Yankee Group, where she spearheaded research and consulting in telecom industry transformation, enterprise and wholesale business models, with specific competences in cloud computing and managed services. She has held operational roles in strategic marketing and fiber infrastructure development in European telcos, and was a telecom advisor to the Soros Foundations.
Camille is a research fellow of the Russian Area Studies Master’s Program at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Russian from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She is a member of Women in Telecoms and Technology.
